And, believe it or not, she likes it too (I think). When I pull a sweater out, she runs over to me, lays down and waits for me to put it on her. This particular sweater has a really cute owl on the back. She wasn't cooperating as a model, however, and I didn't really get a clear picture from above.
Thankfully, Mike and I are both feeling better now and got to do a few things that we missed out on last weekend.
I got to spend Saturday morning with Rachael, learning how to make bread. Although I haven't attempted to do it on my own yet, I was surprised by how fun it was and how easy it *seems* to be. We'll see if my tune changes when I try to do it on my own. :)
That night we enjoyed the perfect fall dinner. We had split pea soup and the fresh bread. Yummy!
Sunday, I hung out with my sister, Kelly, and she cut my hair off... A little change is always fun!
The luckiest thing that happened this weekend is that we got tickets to see Phish at Hampton Coliseum on March 6-8, 2009. They are coming out of retirement to play three nights and it is TOUGH to get tickets. First there is a lottery through the Phish website and then Ticketmaster releases some a few days later. Through the lottery, you can only enter one credit card registered to a particular address, so we solicited help. We put in ours, Mike's parents and Grammy Mac's info and crossed our fingers that we would get tickets to one night of the show.
The lottery ended and we heard that we didn't win. Grammy called with the news that her card didn't win. We assumed Mike's parents didn't win either.
On Saturday morning, Ticketmaster lines opened at 10am. We called from our cell phones and the house, while trying to get through on the website too. Their tickets were sold out in 8 minutes.
We were so bummed. Scalpers are already selling their tickets on eBay and Craigslist for $1000 a ticket and we can't play that game.
But then, on Sunday afternoon, Debbie called with news that WE WON!!! She checked her email and we won TWO tickets to all THREE nights!!!!! Miracle Tickets!!
We are soooooooooooooooooooooo excited. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to Deb, Mac and Grammy for helping us!!

YAY!!! I love your haircut! Looks really great! I am also glad you liked the bread. I swear it took longer than usual because I couldn't help being chatty. But it was more fun than usual too! Rylee has been telling everyone about how you are going to take care of her when mommy goes to the hospital to "get the baby taken out". Love ya!
