The good news is that I have a plan. On March 2nd, I begin massage therapy school. It's an eight month program that is very much focused around holistic healing. It is on a gorgeous campus and I am very much looking forward to spending my days there. It's hard to believe at this time next year that I will be a licensed massage and bodywork therapist.
Last weekend, we merged the guest room and the office so that I can set up a massage room. I don't plan to practice out of our home professionally, but we agreed that it would be fun to have a place that I can give massages to friends and family, especially since I will need a lot of practice. :)
I am happy that our new guestroom feels cozier than the last one. I covered an old desk with some fabric, ended up framing some fabric above the headboard as some do-it-yourself artwork, painted the trim of the mirror white (it was green before) and brought in a few things in from other parts of the house. Now I feel like we actually have a place to put company.
I also tried to organize the shelves in our den this week. I found those three baskets for $20 and they inspired me to try to make the space a little more functional. Mike's Mom, Debbie, who I completely admire and try to channel at almost every opportunity I have, gave me the idea to cover books in white paper, so I did that as well. I am not sure that I am 100% satisfied with the final project, but it has lightened up the room and is WAY better than it was before.

Other than that, I have been catching up on other typical chores and errands and trying to get them done during the day so that Mike and I can just relax together at night. It's very satisfying
Rachael's due date is this week, so hopefully I will be posting some pictures of him very soon. Casey is also due this week! Please be thinking of their families and send loving thoughts of safe and quick deliveries for both mamas and baby boys. Thanks!
