A Great Weekend.

Oh baby, we had fun on Friday night. We got to see The Allman Brothers with Phil Lesh and Friends. It was an incredibly beautiful evening for an outdoor concert and the music was awesome.

If you live with someone for long enough, do you start to dress the same way? As soon as we got there, we took off our shoes to sit on the blanket. When we did, we realized that we were wearing the same socks. We felt pretty cool.

The weekend started out well, for sure.

Saturday we slept in and then I met Rachael and Ola for brunch. Later in the afternoon, Mike and I went to our neighborhood's annual picnic. We met some more neighbors and enjoyed ourselves. We didn't eat the incredible looking BBQ though... maybe next year when we have reached our weight loss goals.

Today we have been cleaning out the shed. Yes, we finally got to it. Although it isn't completely finished, we got the majority of it done. Whew. I can't wait to have it behind us. :) I'll take some "after" pictures when that day comes. (Hopefully it will be next weekend.)

Now, I'm going to make some soup, take Rose on a walk and enjoy the rest of this gorgeous evening.
