Random Stuff

I recently decided to try making bread at home for the first time. Rachael taught me how to do it a few weeks ago, but I wasn't extremely confident about doing it alone, especially because we used a Kitchen Aid to mix the dough at her house. I knew that I would have to kneed the dough by hand for twenty minutes, so Mike and I traded off...



The loaf on the left is regular wheat bread and the one on the right is cinnamon-wheat. They both turned out really well, and I am excited to have a new baking skill to work on.


Friday night, Mike's Uncle Frank built a campfire in the Mac's backyard. The weather was PERFECT for visiting outside around a fire.
