Snow Day

We went to bed on Monday night with high hopes of snow, and we were not disappointed. On Tuesday, Mike had to do a little bit of work from home, but we were able to play in the snow for a while first.

We started the morning off with blueberry pancakes. We leisurely sat around and watched snow fall in the backyard and created an action plan.

First, we got geared up:


Next we went sledding. There are some pretty decent hills in our neighborhood, which made for some speedy rides!

And then we built a snowman.


We think she's pretty cute.


Afterwards, we came in, cuddled up and watched the inauguration. What a beautiful morning together!
