This past weekend we visited with Mike's family. It was extra fun because his sister and her family were able to come in to town too. We haven't seen Eli in a more than a month and it is amazing how quickly he changes.

Uncle Mike is sooo funny!

On Easter morning, we woke up and had a huge breakfast together, spent time visiting and then had an Egg Hunt! At the beginning of the game, Lance and Grammy were assigned the garage door to exit through.

Mike and Missy had the back door. Mac and I went out the front door.

Everybody Go!

When all of the eggs had been found, we reconvened in the living room...

Each egg was numbered and we took turns picking "prize bags" in order of the numbers that we had collected.

Some bags had REALLY good prizes...

Some bags had silly prizes...

And some bags had no prizes at all!

But there was a catch to the game. If your egg had a face on it, you were allowed to try and negotiate prize trades during your turn. And if you had a shiny egg, you could steal any prize that anyone already had during your turn!

It was a very funny, very fun game! The Easter Bunny sure is creative!

Later that night, Mike and I saw the Dead play. It was an amazing ending to a wonderful day.
