Maternity clothes? Oh, yeah. I am definitely out of all normal clothes, and I'm getting to the point where even my bigger pre-pregnancy clothes are too short in the belly area.
Sleep: Great this week, overall. Occasionally, though, I wake up on my belly and it's very uncomfortable.
Best moment this week: That's easy! Our ultrasound appointment was incredible! Seeing the baby move around, hearing that everything looked normal and finding out that we are going to have a daughter was like every Christmas ever, wrapped up into one 30 minute appointment. We have been on cloud 9 all week!
Movement: She's been moving around a lot this week and I can tell that the movements are getting stronger and more frequent. I usually feel her about 5 times a day or so, and often it's right after I eat something. She must enjoy eating like her mommy does. :)
Gender: GIRL!
Labor Signs: Thankfully, none.
Stretch Marks? No, ma’am. But, let's take a moment to talk about cellulite. I've had cellulite, especially when I was a little heavier, but NEVER like this before. Good grief.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Cravings/Aversions: I've been loving chocolate milk, fruit and potatoes. Red meat is still a little iffy although I think I'm slowly coming around to it. I actually ate a hamburger in Florida last week on a whim, so I guess you could say it comes and goes as an aversion.
And, I'd like to add that I actually cooked dinner, a real dinner, tonight for the first time since I got pregnant. It used to make me so sick to prepare food, and I guess it's getting better! Woohoo!
What I am looking forward to: Meeting my daughter in the spring. I am dreaming of her little face and I'm just exploding with love. I can't believe how much more attached I feel now that we know what we are having and have seen pictures. Oh my gosh, I love her so much already.
Weekly Wisdom: Enjoy every moment you can of pregnancy. I love every little movement I feel and I can't believe how much more fun pregnancy has gotten in the last few weeks. Hopefully, it will continue to be...
Milestones: I picked out a birthing class and signed up to begin in January! We are going with Hypnobabies... anyone out there taken those classes before?
And of course, the "big ultrasound" and naming our daughter...

I used Hypnobabies with my last birth, wow, it was amazing! My first birth, I wanted to go med-free, but I ended up with an epidural. The Hypnobabies birth was in-cred-ible. I was completely comfortable right up until the end, when I had a little discomfort, like the last 2-3 minutes, which was totally doable. I even had a necessary pitocin induction (pPROM at 30 weeks, induction at 32) and it was very comfortable. I felt so calm and in control the whole time. I think you'll really like the classes, tons of information and the hypnosis techniques are great.
Congrats on the girl, I love the name! :)

I love the name!
I used Hypnobabies with my last birth and loved it. I have also gathered over 200 birth stories of moms using Hypnobabies at www.pregnancybirthandbabies.com
Very inspirational!
Enjoy your birth!

What a great week! And I love the name you two have chosen. So darling! I am so glad Lydia growing so strong and healthy...and beautiful I am sure.
On a side note, I constantly craved chocolate milk with both pregnancies. Yum! Anyways, congrats! Love ya!
