24 Weeks!

Maternity clothes? I refuse to answer this.

Sleep: Not so great anymore. I wake up between 4 and 5 every morning and can't go back to sleep for hours. Then I feel like I need to sleep in to make up for it. I mean, I should sleep as much as possible while I still can, right?! So, I've kissed my carefully designed schedule good-bye. See you again in a few years!

Best moment this week: Hearing her heartbeat at our appointment was as wonderful as ever.

Movement:
Very active. Especially during my hypnobabies practice and in the morning. However, we went to Mike's parents' house this past weekend and she was quiet every time I'd try to let her Lolly (Mike's mom) feel her kick. Maybe she's shy like her Daddy. Hmm, or stubborn like her Mommy... one or the other. :)

Gender: Girl

Labor Signs: Thankfully, none.

Stretch Marks? Not yet.

Belly Button in or out? In.

Cravings/Aversions: Not so much.

What I am looking forward to: Putting together Lydia's dresser and bookshelves that we got at Ikea over the weekend. Also excited because we picked out a paint color for her room and are making great progress!

What I miss: Sleeping through the night!

Weekly Wisdom: Check Craigslist for baby stuff before you go out and buy retail. We got a jogging stroller that is in perfect condition for about half price. We feel like we got an awesome deal on something that was on the top of our wishlist! YEAH!

Milestones: Viability! Now, I hope my baby stays cozy for several more months, but it's comforting to know that there is at least a chance that she could pull through if she was born today.

We also started our Hypnobabies Birthing Classes. We had a great time and learned a lot at our fist session on Sunday. I'm sure there will be a post about this technique as I learn more about it...
